Fine Drywall Screw
Specifications
These fine thread screws (also known as sharp points or A.P.’s) are used for attaching drywall to 20-25 gauge metal studs. Our fine thread screws are twin lead (two threads starting from one point instead of one) for a slip-proof grip in metal studs.
All screws 2 ¼” or shorter are made from the standard #6 wire and all screws 2 ½” or longer are made from #8 wire which is slightly heavier to prevent breakage. All screws are driven with #2 Phillips head bits.
